Reading is extremely important for building vocabulary and for developing a feeling for English. Read some English every day. If you are finding books and articles too difficult then read comic books. They are very good at teaching language and dialogue. You read three or four sentences and you have a picture to look at to help you understand what you are reading.
Choose a book, newspaper, comic book or magazine that you find interesting, and reading at least a page or two a day will not feel so intimidating. Choose a book with modern language. Twain and Hemingway can wait; right now you should be reading easy to understand English and something you enjoy, such as science fiction, novels or romance.
Write a book report about what you just read and write it in the form of a dialogue. A conversation between two people, one asking questions about the book and the other answering them.
